MY LIFE.
MY LESSONS.
MY JOURNEY.
Before PSV Lifestyle Systems™ became a brand, there was a life of experiences, challenges, learning, rebuilding and continuous growth. This is that story.

THIS IS NOT A STORY ABOUT PERFECTION.
My life has not followed a perfectly straight line.
There have been moments of progress, moments of uncertainty, difficult decisions, lessons I did not expect and periods where I had to start again.
But every chapter taught me something. Some lessons came from success. Some came from failure. Some came from people. Some came from losing what I thought I had built. And some came from having to rebuild myself.
“This page is not about showing a perfect life. It is about sharing the journey that shaped the person behind PSV.”
— Parthiban SelvamWHERE IT ALL BEGAN.
From childhood, I was naturally drawn to physical activity. Running, cricket, push-ups, squats and improvised strength exercises using small dumbbells, and even bricks, were part of my everyday life.
While many children around me were mainly directed towards academic achievement, my parents encouraged me to pursue what genuinely interested me.
By around age 14, that interest had grown into consistent gym training. My ambition was already clear: to work in the gym environment, learn deeply, become a trainer and help other people improve.
After completing Plus Two, I pursued a Fitness Instruction Diploma and began working while continuing my education, including additional personal-training study through NASM. Knowledge was applied immediately in real gym environments rather than staying purely theoretical.
FITNESS CHANGED MORE THAN MY BODY.
My athletic involvement started early, through running and cricket, with strength and conditioning developed from a young age. Training became a lifestyle, not a short-term career decision.
I went on to compete at district level, and achieved a second-place result at the Tamil Nadu State level competition.
Competing taught me the practical realities of preparation, discipline, physique development and the mindset needed to perform under pressure.
I STARTED LEARNING THROUGH PEOPLE.
Every person is different. Therefore every system must understand the person. Coaching taught me accountability, communication, and the reality of transformation.
DISCIPLINE
Progress requires consistency.
PATIENCE
Real development takes time.
ACCOUNTABILITY
Responsibility cannot be outsourced.
ADAPTATION
When something doesn’t work, learn and adjust.
CONSISTENCY
Small actions compound.
SELF-RESPECT
How you treat yourself influences how you build your life.
FROM COACHING TO BUILDING.
Transitioning into entrepreneurship taught me another kind of fitness. A business is also a system. When the system is weak, people struggle. When the system becomes stronger, people can perform better.
From The Gym Floor To Coaching Others
Over more than two decades, personal training, transformation programmes, bodybuilding preparation, weight-loss coaching, body recomposition and nutrition and lifestyle coaching built deep, practical experience with real clients.
Moving Into Management, Sales & Business Development
Client handling, management, sales and gym development experience showed me that a fitness business depends on more than good training, it depends on the systems and people behind it.
THE CHAPTERS THAT TESTED ME.
Starting over does not mean starting from zero. Experience remains. Knowledge remains. Discipline remains. Character remains. Lessons remain.
A Major Accident, And A Rebuild
At around age 18, I experienced a major accident that resulted in significant muscle loss in my left arm. It meant hospitalisation and approximately six months of intensive recovery. Instead of letting that setback end my fitness journey, I rebuilt my body and returned to a high level of physical development.
A Second Setback, A Second Comeback
I experienced a left-shoulder muscle tear that required surgery, with two screws placed, and around seven to eight months of recovery. I rebuilt my physique again and returned to contest preparation. These experiences shaped how I think about programming today, it has to respect a person’s history, capacity and recovery status, and it never replaces medical diagnosis or physiotherapy.
STARTING AGAIN IS STILL MOVING FORWARD.
“I may have had to rebuild parts of my life, but I did not lose what life had already taught me. Age is not the end of the story—it is clarity.”
WHY I CREATED PSV LIFESTYLE SYSTEMS™.
After years of practical experience across fitness, coaching, people, business and systems, the idea emerged that stronger outcomes require stronger systems. PSV was created to bring these lessons together.

What I learned through years on the ground.
PROBLEM

I’M NOT FINISHED.
There is still more to build. More to learn. More people to help. More systems to create. Wherever you are in your story, your current chapter does not have to be your final chapter.
THE PAST BUILT ME.
THE FUTURE IS WHAT I BUILD NEXT.
My story is still being written. PSV Lifestyle Systems™ is not the end of the journey—it is the beginning of the next chapter.
“I cannot change every chapter that came before me. But I can choose what I build from everything those chapters taught me.”
